Advent and Christmas schedule

Advent and Christmas schedule

Sunday worship during Advent

As we enter the year of Matthew, the scripture readings for Advent prepare us for God with us, Emmanuel.  We are invited to a time of great expectation and hopefulness, which is much different than to-do lists and the shopping hustle and bustle.  May you enter this space during our Sunday worship and may it carry you through the days of Advent.

Advent Prayer at Noon, Wednesday, December 7th

Our prayer service will be centered around the gifts of Advent—patience, speech & silence, hope, and family.  Come, be a part of this interactive prayer service.  Bring your lunch and stay afterwards for fellowship.

Images for Advent – Adult Education Class, 11-11:45am, Sunday December 4th and 11th

Join Pastor Debbie as we explore some of the common and maybe not so common images of Advent.  We’ll look to the scripture readings for the season, especially drawing from Isaiah and the Gospel according to Matthew.

Remember – adult education classes will begin at 11 AM to allow time for fellowship and coffee after worship.

Worship with us Christmas Eve at 5pm or 7pm

Both services will have beautiful music, the story of Jesus’ birth, Holy Communion, and candle lighting.

The Bell Choir, Chancel Choir, and guest musicians will be joining us for worship at the 7pm service.
Invite your family and friends!

Christmas morning worship, Sunday, December 25th

A service of “Lessons and Carols” will carry us through the anticipation, announcement, and birth of the Christ child.

First Sunday of Christmas, January 1, 2023

Sunday worship will be at 9:30am as we hear of the naming of Jesus, the eight-day old newborn (Luke 2:14-21).
